Description: Eruption of Color was created with the use of multiple paint cans being swing repeatedly over the canvas. As each color can spun back and forth, I moved the canvas so that colors could start to blend and take certain shapes. The concept was to express movement and to create a reaction to the movement. Layer upon layer was added along with touches of gold leaf to add further depth and certain amount of fluid movement.
