Description: This work started with the idea that mixing materials such as fabric, corrugated cardboard, Styrofoam, and etc. could add interesting texture. The experiment was extremely successful in that it allowed a more monochromatic composition to achieve depth and volume to the otherwise flat canvas. Thick layers of paint are hand applied to create movement and texture. Because it is hand painted, no two pieces of art will be exactly the same. The gallery wrapped canvas is set into a floating silver leaf wood frame. Hardware is attached so the back of the art so that it is ready to hang right out of the box.
